Internal Table

Internal Table is mounted on the optical table

The image detectors to be measured will be mounted on the table inside the vacuum chamber. To guarantee the optimal stability, this table is made of INVAR material and mounted on 4 invar posts to the optical table. This will decouple the detector from any dilatation of the vacuum chamber. This is one of the key differences to most other vacuum chambers used for optical instruments.
